ZAPS was founded in the fall of 2009 by a group of 4 entrepreneurs of Polish origin. The idea came about after a trip to Poland where ZAPS (zapiekanki) are considered an icon of fast food due to the amazing quality and unparallel price which cannot be surpassed by competition. In the few short months since opening, the first ZAPS location has quickly caught on with the locals as well as the Boston's Polish community alike. This success has now started to pave the way into the second ZAPS location which is already in the works.
